Zhangye Ganzhou Airport:
Zhangye Ganzhou Airport is a dual-use military and civil airport serving the city of Zhangye in Gansu Province, China. It is located 24 kilometres from the city centre. Construction began in May 2010 to convert the airbase to a dual-use airport, at an estimated cost of 313 million yuan. The airport was opened on 1 November 2011.
The airport has one 3,000-metre runway (class 4C), and a 4,126 square-metre terminal building. It is designed to handle 243,000 passengers and 1,700 tons of cargo annually by 2020.
Passengers can fly from Zhangye to Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Lanzhou and Xi'an directly and go to downtown by airport shuttle bus.
Zhangye Railway Transportation:
By far the most convenient and best options to visit the magnificent view is still by train, Zhangye railway station is located 6.4 km northeast of Zhangye, Gansu. It handles about 49 passenger services per day along the Lanzhou–Xinjiang Railway as well as being a major freight depot.
Zhangye Railway Station is mainly operating the high-speed trains to Urumqi, Turpan, Jiayuguan, Xining, and Lanzhou etc.

Zhangye Highway Transportation:
The highway transportation hub in Zhangye is relatively complete, tourists can take the long-distance bus to some places. The East Long-distance Bus Station, located at the East Circle City Road, has buses running to Wuwei, Lanzhou and Yinchuan. Passengers can also take buses from the South Long-distance Bus Station in Zhangye to Dunhuang, Jiayuguan, Lanzhou and Mati Temple.
