Shuttle Bus
There are shuttle bus running between airport and downtown. They usually departure every half-hour and take about one hour to Lanzhou city. The rate is about 30 RMB.
Taxi
Most taxicabs are metered, but you are suggested to negotiate with the driver to reach a cheaper price instead of paying by metes. Usually it cost 180~200 RMB for the transfer.
Lanzhou Zhongchuan Airport
Zhongchuan Airport is one of the major airports in the northwest of China at the fringe of the Qing-Tibet Plateau. Most continental flights from Europe to Hong Kong fly over this airport due to Lanzhou's unique geographical location. At present, it has more than 40 national air routes to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, etc. It has also introduced flights to international cities in Japan, Korea, Singapore and Malaysia.
Lanzhou Railway Station
It is one of the largest traffic railway stations in China. Lanzhou Railway Station is subordinate to Lanzhou Railway Bureau, set up by seven departments: Office, Labor and Personnel Division, Plans and Finance Section, Security Branch etc.
Lanzhou West Railway Station
Lanzhou West Railway Station has been operational on December 26th, 2014 as the largest terminus along the Lanzhou-Xinjiang High Speed Railway. It is also the largest terminus along the Baoji-Lanzhou High Speed Railway which is scheduled to be put into service in 2017. There are 3 floors inside the terminal building, two above ground and one underground.
