Welcome to Lhasa! Your adventure begins in Lhasa, the heart of Tibet! As you step off the plane or train, our friendly guide and driver will greet you with warm smiles and a traditional white scarf (Khata) to bless your tour. After a smooth transfer to your hotel, take the rest of the day to relax and acclimatize to the high altitude. Let the mystical aura of Lhasa envelop you as you prepare for an unforgettable exploration.

Day 2Dive into Tibetan Buddhism

Today, you'll delve into the spiritual core of Tibet. Start at Drepung Monastery, once the largest monastic university in the world. Wander through its grand halls and ancient kitchens, where monks once prepared meals for thousands. Next, head to Sera Monastery, famous for its lively Buddhist debates. Watch as monks engage in animated philosophical discussions, using dramatic gestures to express their insights—a truly mesmerizing spectacle!  

In the evening, join your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner at a traditional Tibetan restaurant. Savor authentic flavors like yak meat and butter tea, while sharing stories under the starry Lhasa sky.

Day 3Treasures of Lhasa

Prepare to be awestruck as you visit the iconic Potala Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the former winter residence of the Dalai Lama. Climb its 365 steps (symbolizing the days of the year) and marvel at golden stupas, intricate murals, and the sacred aura of this architectural masterpiece.  

Later, explore Jokhang Temple, Tibet's holiest shrine, where pilgrims prostrate themselves in devotion. Stroll along Barkhor Street, bustling with prayer wheels and vibrant markets. Pause at a local teahouse to sip butter tea and soak in the rhythms of Tibetan daily life.

Day 4Scenic Wonders

Bid farewell to Lhasa and embark on a breathtaking drive to Shigatse. Your first stop: the turquoise Yamdrok Lake, a sacred gem cradled by snow-capped peaks. Enjoy a lakeside farmhouse lunch with warm-hearted locals, then continue to the dramatic Karola Glacier, where ice cascades down like a frozen waterfall.  

Pass through the historic town of Gyantse before arriving in Shigatse, Tibet's second-largest city, where the evening is yours to unwind.

Traverse rugged landscapes and stop at viewpoints like Gawula Pass, where the Himalayas stretch across the horizon like a celestial painting. Arrive at Everest Base Camp (EBC) by sunset—watch in awe as the world's highest peak glows golden under the fading light.  

Spend the night under a blanket of stars at EBC (or a cozy village in winter), feeling the magic of standing at the foot of Everest.

2. Typically we will take 400 USD per person as deposit when you book the trip (You can pay a deposit through WeChat/Alipay/bank transfer.)

Cancellation Policies 

Our cancellation policies are very friendly.

If you have to cancel your trip for some unexpected reasons, we have the following policies:

1. FULL REFUND at least 155 days before departure date. (Note: except the cost of service fees paid for the third party, such as flight ticket refund service fees)
2. FULL REFUND if there is no flight and train to arrive resulted from extreme weather or government restrictions.


If the trip is cancelled due to severe weather conditions or any government restriction, full refund will be offered.
