Day 1Nyingchi Arrival

Your unforgettable Tibet adventure begins as you arrive at Nyingchi Mainling Airport, where your friendly guide will greet you with a traditional Tibetan white scarf, known as "Hada", symbolizing purity and goodwill. After completing the necessary formalities, we'll set off to explore the enchanting Yani River Forest Wetland and the ancient Nyingtri Cypress Forest, home to towering cypress trees over 2,600 years old. Next, we'll tour the breathtaking Sela area before arriving at the picturesque Lulang Forests, nestled beneath snow-capped mountains that create a stunning backdrop no matter the season. As the day winds down, we'll settle in Bomi for a restful overnight stay.

Day 2Marvel at Nature's Masterpieces

After breakfast, we'll venture to the awe-inspiring Midui Glacier, one of China's three major maritime glaciers and the world's lowest-altitude glacier. Its shimmering ice formations resemble jade, offering a surreal sight. Later, we'll visit the pristine Rawok Lake, the headstream of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, fed by the majestic Laigu Glacier. Surrounded by lush grasslands and vibrant flora, this lake is a photographer's dream, with its crystal-clear waters reflecting the surrounding snow-capped peaks. Tonight, we'll stay in the serene Laigu Glacier Park, immersing ourselves in nature's tranquility.

Day 3Laigu Glacier Adventure

Today is dedicated to an in-depth exploration of the Laigu Glacier. You'll have the chance to visit the mesmerizing Blueice Lake and the impressive Yalong Glacier, which stretches 12 kilometers from the towering Gangri Gabu Mountain. The glacier's dramatic descent to Gangri Gabu Lake creates a landscape of unparalleled beauty. After a day of adventure, we'll return to Bomi for a cozy evening.

Day 4A tour Through Heaven on Earth

Wake up early to witness the serene beauty of Guxiang Lake at dawn, where the tranquil waters mirror the surrounding mountains. Then, we'll journey eastward to the breathtaking Basumtso Lake, a sacred site for Tibetan Buddhism. This heavenly destination combines snow-capped peaks, lush forests, and serene waters, offering endless opportunities for photography and peaceful reflection. Spend the afternoon trekking or horseback riding around the lake, soaking in the pristine beauty of this natural wonder.

Day 5Nomadic Wonders

Today, we'll travel to Shannan, the cultural heartland of Tibet, stopping first at the idyllic Gongdelin Grassland. Here, you'll witness a pastoral paradise with grazing yaks, playful foals, and the timeless charm of nomadic life. Next, we'll visit Sijin Lhatso, a sacred lake shrouded in legend and revered by locals. Its tranquil waters, encircled by towering peaks, create a mystical atmosphere. By evening, we'll arrive in Zedang for a well-deserved rest.

Day 6A Visual Feast

Prepare for a day of breathtaking vistas as we drive to the Kampala Pass (4,797 meters), where you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the turquoise Yamdrok Lake, one of Tibet's three holy lakes, and the majestic Mt. Nyenchen Khangsar. The glacier-clad peaks and shimmering waters create a scene straight out of a dream. Later, we'll visit the Karola Glacier, another natural wonder, before continuing our tour.

Day 7Stand at the Roof of the World

Today's highlight is the legendary Everest Base Camp (5,200 meters). We'll traverse high mountain passes, including Tsola Pass (4,600 meters) and Gyatsola Pass (5,248 meters), before entering the Mt. Everest National Nature Reserve. At Gawula Pass (5,198 meters), you'll witness a sweeping panorama of the Himalayas. Arriving at Everest Base Camp, you'll stand in awe of the towering Mt. Everest Peak. If weather permits, don't miss the golden hues of sunset illuminating the world's highest peak. Spend the night in a cozy tent or the historic Rongbuk Monastery guesthouse.

Day 10A Cultural Immersion

Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.
