As Xinjiang is a huge region, so we decided to cover only the southern region. we arrange a for a car and driver from Silk road travel. They proposed the itinerary and we go along with it. Overall, a 5 star trip arranged by a 5 star company . The driver was awesome.

Would I recommend Silk Road Travel ? YES. Lesley Lee was very responsive to all our enquiries and emails from start to end. She is an expert in her field.

We flew into Urumqi on Oct. 10, 2016.  We started our tour there and went westward.  

We did the camel ride.  It was a lot of fun.  I've ridden camels before in Morocco and other places, but this is more fun than those.  

By the way, we had very good tour guides.  We requested english speaking ones because most of our members speak cantonese, a few can handle putongwa, but all can handle English.

We are a group of 15 people who did an in-depth traveling of the Xinjiang province with this tour company. We all had an awesome time! Our tour guide is super knowledgeable, patient and caring. Our drivers are professional and courteous. The scenery is spectacular and amazing! We plan to go back to a different area of Xinjiang with this company in the near future. Highly recommended to all!

We are a group of 11 paxs has really enjoyed the wonderful autumn colours and various location including devil city, the canyon amond other. The guide Mr Ma work tirelessly to care for us and unsure we arrive to the deatination safely and puntualy. We in touch all the time with the tour operator Miss Lesley to ensure we are all alright and good. The hotel and food are also wonderful.

Our travel group of 8 had a wonderful and enjoyable time traveling on the Silk road tour organized by Silk Road Travel. The 15 days tour from Xian to Kashgar is well organized with experienced and knowledgeable local guides conducting the tour. We had a stress-free and comfortable time visiting key historical sites, beautiful scenic areas and experiencing local cuisine and culture. 

We will certainly recommend Silk Road Travel to anyone interested in travelling to the western region of China.

Our 12 member group embarked on a 15 day Silk Road discovery tour with Silk Road Travel who provided a professional English speaking tour guide in both Gansu and Xinjiang. Our package included 4/5 star hotel accommodation, all meals (B/L/D), bus and high speed train transportation throughout the 15 days as well as all entrance charges for the tour attractions listed in the agreed itinerary. The service quality of the guides and vehicle drivers were excellent. The sites and attractions arranged by Silk Road Travel were well chosen to cater to our requirements. At no point during the tour did we feel anxious.
