Thank you Lesley for a trip well organised. We had a wonderful time together in the 5 Stan countries. The guides are friendly, caring , good tempered and patient, imparting valuable knowledge to us. The hotels are clean , comfortable and well located. Food was excellent especially in Uzbekistan where we were brought to beautiful, cosy and well decorated restaurants and served with delicious local cuisine.The drivers are careful and drive with alertness of mind on difficult roads.
We enjoyed the  variety of attractions and sightseeing places. We love the natural scenery of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. Turkmenistan’s development in Ashgabat totally amazed us. Uzbekistan is full of culture and beautiful architecture.

This Silk Road tour exceeded all expectations. I was on the 14 day trip with a great group of people. For anyone wanting to see the Silk Road, this trip is a must, I highly recommend. The Itinerary was packed with some breathtaking locations and I really enjoyed learning from local guides about what life is like here and how the silk road was so developed.
This was my first time attending a group tour for multiple days and I really enjoyed it for several reasons:
1. Group size was kept below 14, which was great as we got to ask our guide questions, had a comfortable ride on the bus and got to really know the group we were with
2. Hotels were to a high standard, I was impressed how even in some very remote locations on the silk road the hotels were to a good standard, with clean facilities and fast WIFI.
3. Clear communication, The evening before the next day we had a message with clear communication about what we would be doing the next day and timings, the guides were great at managing our expectations around timings and giving us tips (such as which side to sit on transport to get the best pictures and views)
4. The itinerary had a good mixture of historical sites of significance as well as exploring nature and seeing natural beauties (such as Heavenly Lake and White Sand mountains)
5. The guides, were friendly, helpful and willing to answer any questions we had whilst on our trip and recommend food places when we arrived at our hotel in the evening.
For me, highlights included the ancient ruins of Jiaohe, the Gobi Desert, and exploring the vibrant bazaars of Kashgar. A once-in-a-lifetime experience that I’ll never forget. Highly recommended for anyone seeking to understand more about this beautiful part of China.

Hello, I just wanted to thank everyone for a great tour. I had a lovely time seeing all the attractions in Zhangye, Jiayuguan, and Dunhuang. The tour was very well organized and the hotels were amazing.

I have to specifically express my thanks to @Meiling何美玲13830735141 in looking after me after my unfortunate incident in the hotel room on the morning of the 8th of March and her arrangement for me to go to the hospital and being accompanied by a hotel staff, it is very comforting for a foreigner like me who will be lost in the hospital system in China，thanks.

I also like to highlight the way that this tour company handle this incident , instead of me going through heaps of paperwork in order to claim back my medical expenses for the incident, the company reimbursed me the hospital expenses and save me all the pain of claiming back the minor expenses, I am very gladful for the thoughtfulness!

Hi Leah, back in HK now and want to give you a little more feedback. Universal Hotel in Urumqi was good. Nice Chinese restaurant. Good room. Our guide in Urumqi area, Aman, was really good. Very nice fellow and , since he is Kazakh, we learned some things about Kazakh culture on the one hand, and he was also able to tell us a lot about Uyghur culture too. Aman was very good at enabling us to enter a Uyghur home and meet family near Turpan. The warmth of the family's welcome towards us was very touching.
