“Xinjiang and Gansu Tour FeedbackZhangye to DunhuangPeter, our guide, was friendly and helpful. He accompanied my sister-in-law to shop for a luggage as the lock for her luggage was damaged. Although he had an English accent and Mandarin accent which we sometimes had difficulty understand, we were able to get what he was saying after clarifying. He has good local knowledge and is also able to share historical insights about the places that we visited. I had long conversation with him on the bus and appreciated what he shared about living in Dunhuang. He recommended the local food that we should try in each city. We also enjoyed the food at the places that he recommended to us. From picking us up from Lanzhou station, settling room arrangement, and sending us off at Dunhuang station, he was very professional and helped our two most seniors in our group with the luggage. I must compliment his service attitude. He also worked well with the driver as a team.The driver for this segment was friendly and had good service attitude. He was careful in his driving and ensured a smooth ride for us.The quality and service at the hotels in Gansu were good. The rooms were clean and spacious.
