Thank you for a great holiday that had been arranged. The hotels recommended were all good and we especially liked the one in Dunhuang which is big and comfortable. Even Hoitak in Urumqi which is rather dated but the rooms and toilets are squeaky clean and they don't smell old like in some old hotels. My only feedback is Mercure in Turpan, when I told them that my room smelt of cigarette smoke and someone els belongings were in there, they quickly changed the room as the occupant was supposed to vacate. The front desk knew the guest smoke and he even smoke along the corridor which was so unpleasant but they didn't do anything. Quite bad for a known Chain hotel brand .Our guide Aman was there to help us in the room change all along as he wanted to make sure our rooms are ok.All your contracted drivers and guides were excellent too.Thank you.
