The 7 of us consisting friends and family members mostly in their sixties had an amazing 13 day trip starting in Xi’an and ending in Urumqi. Some of us were slightly apprehensive about the journey because we had heard stories of hardships on the Silk Road. But thanks to Lesley and her team, All the hotel stays arranged throughout the trip were very comfortable wish good breakfast buffet. One highlight of our journey was an extended night in Zhangye area to visit Mati Temple. It was really a beautiful place and well worth the extension. We really appreciate the good work done by Lesley in ensuring a seamless smooth journey for us.
