Changbai Mountain North Slope and Tianchi
Tianchi Lake is surrounded by the sixteen peaks of Changbai Mountain, and leans against the main peak of Changbai Mountain. The lake is about 4400m long from north to south and 3370m wide from east to west. The elevation of its water is 2189.1m, which is more than 200m higher than Tianchi Lake in Tianshan, Xinjiang. It is the highest and deepest volcanic lake in China.

Harbin Ice and Snow World, founded in 1999, is a large-scale ice and snow art project launched to welcome the millennium celebration of the Shenzhou Century Tour. Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd.
