Mordoga National Forest Park is the largest forest park in China and the last bright coniferous virgin forest in the cold temperate zone in China.

The Haur River is a national AA-level scenic spot, named for the beautiful and ecological Haur River.

Day 1Arrival in Hailar

You will be met by your guide and driver at the airport, and then be transferred to the hotel.The rest of the day is for you to relax and prepare for your amazing tour in Mongolia!

Day 2Visit Mergel River(40km,1hrs) and Eerguna(110km,1.5hrs)

After breakfast, drive to the deep part of Hulunbeir Grassland, go to the Mergel River, the shooting place of "Where Is Dad Going", enjoy the river, which is known as "the best water in the world" by Lao She, and walk along the river on the grassland (you can voluntarily participate in grassland entertainment activities at your own expense). After the grassland activities, drive to Eerguna, the most popular tourist destination in China, to visit important areas of bird protection in the world Eerguna Wetland, the first wetland in Asia. Overnight in Erguna.

Day 3Drive to Aoluguya(130km,2hrs) then Back to GenHe (5km,10mins)

After breakfast, visit Russian families to learn about the living customs and religious beliefs of the Russian people, watch the performance of ethnic musical instruments, listen to the ethnic songs, and experience the production of Russian colored eggs (free of charge). Then, go to the Aoluguya Ewenk Ethnic Village in the deep part of the Great Khingan Mountains, visit the Aoluguya Deer Tribe, which is the last hunting tribe in China, the hometown of reindeer culture in China, the hometown of birch bark culture in China, and the starting place of Santa Claus in China. Then, we drive to Baotou for overnight stay.

Day 4Visit Mordoga National Forest, Drive to ParkShiwei (100km,2hrs)

Today we are going to Mordoga National Forest Park. Mordaoga National Forest Park was once selected as one of the most desirable places in China. In 2014, it was listed as one of the top ten scenic spots in the "Most Beautiful China List". In there,we can take the forest train for sightseeing. After the visit, we drive to Shiwei for overnight stay.

Day 5Haur River(48km, 1hrs) and Drive to Heishantou (146km, 2.5hrs)

After breakfast, drive to the Haur River scenic spot. Take a light hike along the Haur River, enjoy the gentle beauty of the river, feel the original forest production and the ancient mysterious hunting life and visit the birch forest scenic spot. Then,we are going to visit the White Birch Forest, the holy land of love in northern China, visit the only natural landscape of pure white birch forest in Hulunbeier area of the Great Khingan Mountains. After the visit, drive to Heishantou and overnight in the grassland yurts.

Day 6Heishantou and Drive Back to Hailar (170km,2.5hrs)

After breakfast, drive to the Mongolian herdsmen's pasture (wear Mongolian clothing, experience popular train, feed and herd sheep and other activities). After the event, take a horseback riding experience on the grassland (voluntary participation, at your own expense), and then return to Hailar, where you will stay overnight.

Day 7Hailar

After breakfast, drive to the Hulunbeier National Museum with distinctive regional and ethnic characteristics to learn about the development history of the hunting nomads in northern China. Then, be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back to your sweet home.It has been a great Mongolia holiday and we look forward to seeing you in another China trip!

Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.
