Welcome to Lanzhou is the capital city of Gansu Province in northwest China. The Yellow River, the Chinese Mother River, runs through the city, ensuring rich crops of many juicy and fragrant fruits. The city is the transportation and telecommunication center of the region, it was once a key point on the ancient Silk Road. Today we will visit Gansu Province Museum, which is the biggest comprehensive museum in the province. Visit White Pagoda Park with the exception of the green top which greatly enhances the glamour of the whole building. Continue the tour at the First Bridge of Yellow River, lies at the foot of Bai Ta Mountain. Lastly, a visit to the Waterwheel Garden will provide an insight into the irrigation tools of ancient times.
