6 Days Guiyang Tour to Miao and Dong Village

Today you wil arrive in Guiyang and meet your local guide at airport exit. And you will grab  lunch at airport and transfer 2 hrs to start your trip. Firstly, you will hike past mountains featuring Karst landform (+/- 2 hrs) and reach to an old Buyi village. Walk around the village and hike uphill (about 30 mins) to check in a local Karst cave. And your guide will take you to explore the cave. Then, you can dinner in the cave. 

At night, you can camp in the cave after dinner in the cave or stay at the hotel nearby.

Today after breakfast, you will walk 30 minutes down to get on the van and drive about 3 hrs to Kaili city, stop en route to enjoy the beauty of Sky Bridge. And take part in welcome ceremony held by the local Miao people and enjoy the long table banquet for lunch at local ppl's house. 

After lunch, we will drive about 25 mins to visit another Miao Village-Stone Bridge and learn how to make flower paper. And then, you can swim in local river if your are interested. After this, we will drive to your hotel in Kaili and have dinner at local restaurant then go back to hotel. Have a good rest.

Today after having breakfast we will start our trip. Firstly we will drive about 2.5hrs to a local Miao Village and walk around to see the local traditional lifestyles. After lunch, you will hike about 3 hrs to another Miao village, enjoy the beautiful rice terrace, mountain views and ancient villages on the way.  When hiking you will be amazed by the beautiful natural views, rich vegetation including few hundreds of 1000 plus years old cedar trees! Then we will have lunch at local family and walk back to your guesthouse.

Today after breakfast, we will drive about 1.5hrs to visit Langde Village of Long skirt Miao, watch local traditional singing and dancing show. And then have lunch at Local family restaurant. Then we will drive 1 hour to the hiking trail point and hike one hour to Matang village of Gejia minority to learn how the locals make the batik - a Miao Intangible Cultural Heritage! Drive 2 hours to Rongjiang and check in your hotel. At night, you will have dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Today, after breakfast we will drive about 1 hour to the hiking trail point and hike 3 hours along the beautiful rice terraces to a village of Black Miao and have lunch at local family. And  then drive about 1.5 hours to Huanggang Dong ethnic village and check in your boutique guesthouse. You can Walk around to know more about their culture and life style and have lunch at local family. At night, you can enjoy Grand Choirs Bonfire party, appreciate the authentic Dong ethnic songs (Grand Choirs) sung by locals which is listed as international intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO ! After party, head back to your guesthouse hotel.

Today is time to say goodbye. Before we go, you gave time to enjoy your free time to explore this 800 years old village. And the we will drive 3.5 hours to Guiyang airport for you flight back home. Have a good trip.
