6 Days In-Depth Sichuan Discovery Adventure

In the morning, our guide and driver will meet you at your Chengdu hotel lobby then transfer to Jiuzhaigou town. It's a long driving day from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou Valley; however, the beautiful scenery along the way will relieve you from the fatigue and boredom. Highland mountains, Tibetan Villages, Grasslands, Yaks, Sheep, horses… Just enjoy and forget the hustle and bustle from the city.

Your full-day scenic tour today is to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area to enjoy the green lakes, double waterfalls, snowy peaks, and colorful forests. Then, You can take the tourist bus to the top, when you get there, you can walk down part way and take the bus down the rest of the way.

Your full-day scenic tour today is to Huanglong Scenic Area to visit the natural views and rare species, about 1-hour drive through Mt. Xueshanliangzi at 4,200m altitude. After the tour, you will drive back to Jiuzhaigou Town for overnight stay (2,000m altitude, approximately 2.5-hour drive through Mt. Xueshanliangzi).

Today transfer back to Chengdu, and our guide and driver will meet you at the hotel. You will have short sightseeing on the way back Chengdu. Upon arrival, take you to the hotel and check-in. The rest of day is for you to explore the wonderful city

Get up early, after breakfast, and you will hop in a car and explore Giant Panda Base where 18km away from Dujiangyan. It is the only panda base in China. If you are animal lovers, this tour is an ideal one for you. You will have a chance to be a volunteer to feed and clean panda and observe their behavior closely.

 

Spend a two-hour drive and visit Leshan Giant Buddha, which is a huge statue carved into the side of Lingyun Mountain. Taller by 17 meters than the standing Buddha in Afghanistan. Then you will take a cruise to the Leshan Giant Buddha, the tallest and largest Buddha in the world. It is carved on the cliff of Lingyun Mountain with a delicate design of the drainage system. It was included by UNESCO on the list of World Heritage sites.

After enjoying the breakfast at the hotel, our professional tour guide will take you to visit Mt. Emei, the highest of China's four holy mountains. The sightseeing bus will bring you to Leidongping first, where you need to walk to Jieyin Palace to take the cable car up to appreciate the natural scenery around the Golden Summit, and descend by the cable car later.

After visiting, we will transfer back to Chengdu, and your trip ended.
