Zhejiang, such as Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, Ningbo Lishe International Airport, etc. For example, from Beijing to Hangzhou, it usually takes about 2 to 3 hours by plane.
From International Cities: Some international flights to Zhejiang connect via Hong Kong or other major international hubs. From Hong Kong to Hangzhou, it takes just over two hours.
There are some direct flights from major cities in Europe to Zhejiang. For example, there is a direct flight from Madrid to Hangzhou. The Capital Airlines JD361 flight departs from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport at 23:55 and arrives in Madrid at 08:25 the next day. The return flight JD362 takes off from Madrid at 12:30 local time and lands in Hangzhou at 07:55 the next day
By Train
High-Speed Train: The high-speed rail network in China is extensive, and there are many high-speed trains to Zhejiang. For instance, from Shanghai to Hangzhou, it only takes about 45 minutes by high-speed train. High-speed trains are not only fast but also comfortable, with regular departures throughout the day.
Regular Train: There are also regular trains available for those who prefer a more economical option or for certain routes where high-speed trains may not be as convenient. For example, there is a direct train from Urumqi to Hangzhou, which provides a convenient option for travelers from Xinjiang.
Travel Testrictions
Generally speaking, there are no special additional travel restrictions for entering Zhejiang from Europe other than the common requirements for entering China. Here are the main points:
Foreigners need to apply for the appropriate visa according to their travel purposes, such as tourist visas, business visas, etc. Citizens from some European countries can visit China visa-free for 15 days until December 31st, 2025. Europeans from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Hungary, Ireland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Poland, Denmark, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, and Slovenia can visit China visa-free for 15 days until December 31st, 2025. For those not from these countries or planning to stay longer than 15 days, they need to apply for an appropriate visa in advance.
Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended period of stay in China, with at least two blank pages for visas and stamps.
It is necessary to fill in the customs declaration form truthfully when entering the country and go through the customs formalities in accordance with the regulations.
