Best Time to Visit Uzbekistan


Uzbekistan is a sunny country with an extreme continental climate that closely borders on a semi-arid climate with hot, dry summers and relatively wet, variable winters that alternate periods of warm weather with periods of cold weather. July and August are the hottest months of the year with temperatures reaching, and exceeding, 40 ℃.  Length of the day in summer is about 15 hours in the winter - at least nine.

The coldest month is January. The temperature drops in the north to 8 C and below, and the extreme south, near the town of Termez, it is above zero. The absolute minimum winter temperatures of 35-38 degrees below zero.

In most of the annual rainfall does not exceed 200-300 mm.

 

Best time to Uzbekistan

Spring (April to June) to Autumn ( September to October ) is the best time to visit Uzbekistan. Generally, the autumn is harvest time, and the markets are full of fresh fruit. If you're interested in trekking, then summer (July and August) is the best time, because at that time you can enjoy the magnificent natural views.

Best Time to Visit Bukhara:

April, May, September and October are the best time to visit Uzbekistan. Generally, the autumn is harvest time, and the markets are full of delicious fruits. Spring to Summer is the best time to travel to Samarkand. Among them, Samarkand features a Mediterranean climate that closely borders on a semi-arid climate with hot, dry summers and relatively wet, variable winters that alternate periods of warm weather with periods of cold weather. July and August are the hottest months of the year with temperatures reaching, and exceeding, 40 °C. Most of the sparse precipitation is received from December through April. January 2008 was particularly cold, and the temperature dropped to −22 °C.
