Nansha District is located in the southern part of Guangzhou and is at the mouth of the Zhujiang (Pearl) River. It is an important gateway for Guangzhou to the ocean. Nansha Tianhou Palace
Guangzhou Nansha Tianhou Palace is the largest Mazu temple in Southeast Asia. It is located on the southeast slope of Mount Da Jiao, facing the Lingdingyang Sea. The temple's architecture is magnificent, combining the architectural style of the Beijing Forbidden City and the grandeur of Nanjing's Zhongshan Mausoleum. In the center of Nansha Tianhou Palace Square stands a stone-carved Mazu statue. Every year, the Mazu Cultural Tourism Festival is held here. It is the best place to pray to Mazu, the "sea goddess," and to experience Lingnan culture.

Nansha Wetland Park
Nansha Wetland Park is located in Wanqingsha Town, Nansha District, and is a national 4A-level scenic area, known as the “Kidney of Guangzhou.” The park is covered with extensive mangroves and reeds, attracting a large number of birds to nest and feed, making it a rare bird-watching paradise in the Zhujiang(Pearl) River Delta. You can take a boat tour through the mangroves, reed marshes, lotus ponds, and bird - feeding areas, enjoying different seasonal views: observing bird nests in spring, admiring lotus flowers in summer, viewing reeds in autumn, and watching migratory birds in winter.

Eighteen Arhats Mountain Scenic Area
Eighteen Arhats Mountain Scenic Area is an outdoor recreation paradise brimming with natural charm. With lush vegetation, clear streams, and fresh air, it's a hiker's and mountaineer's paradise. The park features several trails, offering scenic views of forests, brooks, and unique rocks. When spring comes in March and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, a Cherry Blossom Festival would be held here.From the summit, you can enjoy panoramic views of Nansha's urban landscape and the beautiful scenery of Zhujiang(Pearl) River estuary, making it an ideal place to relax and connect with nature.

The best seasons to visit Guangzhou Nansha are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November).
In spring, the warm climate is perfect for flower viewing, with blossoms in full bloom at the Nansha Wetland Park.
Autumn is cool and pleasant, making it the ideal time to watch migratory birds, especially from November to December when the Nansha Wetland Park welcomes a large number of migratory birds.
These two seasons allow visitors to avoid the summer heat and typhoons while enjoying the natural beauty and comfortable climate of Nansha.
