The best time to visit is from April to June and September to November. During these periods, the weather is comfortable and the scenery is at its most beautiful. Autumn (September–October) is especially popular for Jiuzhaigou, when forests turn golden and the lakes display stunning colors.
This tour requires a moderate level of fitness. You will walk on sightseeing paths, boardwalks and mountain trails at destinations including Jiuzhaigou Valley, Huanglong Scenic Area and Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Cable cars, shuttle buses and escalators are available at some attractions to make the journey more comfortable.

Huanglong Scenic Area is located at an altitude of over 3,000 meters (9,800 feet). Most travelers can visit without major problems, but it is recommended to walk slowly, drink enough water and avoid strenuous activities. Travelers with altitude concerns can discuss itinerary adjustments with us.
