8 of us attended a custom planned tour of the Silk Road fr. Kashgar to Xi'an with Lesley from Xinjiang China International Travel Co., Ltd. Our tour began with Kashgar, through to Urumqi, Turpan, Dunhuang, Jiayuguan, Zhangye, Xining, Lanzhou, Tianshui, and Xi'an. we were greeted by friendly local tour guides and delivered on time to the airport and train stations at each city. We had very diligent guides with good English to give us information on history, geography, mythology, religion, local stories. They worked conscientiously for our safety and enjoyment, even on late nights. The buses were clean and new, the drivers competent and were efficient with our bags on and off the bus, Everything was taken care of extremely well and made for a very memorable trip. I highly recommend this tour company.

    Review submitted 29th June 2018

There were 16 of us in our tour group, 7 from Canada, 7 from USA, and 2 from Malaysia. We were all friends before the tour, and it was a consensus among us that what we had was the best tour we ever had. I was the contact person and I made all the tour arrangements with Lesley, the manager of Xinjiang China Travel. She was truly a joy to work with, as she always responded promptly to my emails and messages. What we had was essentially a private tour and there was no mandatory shopping stops. Based on our initial requirements, Lesley provided a tour itinerary from their list of tours.
The tour itself had been very well organized. The tour logistics of arranging for transportation, accommodation as well as the meals over such a vast tour area had been excellent. I highly recommend the silk road tour with Lesley and the Xinjiang China Travel. They would accommodate a tour group of as small as one person. If you have friends to form your own group, like what we had, that would be ideal.

My partner and I were planning a trip to Silk Road. We inquired with a half dozen companies and decided on joining private tours with Lesley. She helped us designed a customized itinerary that was exactly what we need. Each of the stops we had amazing English speaking tour guides that were informative, friendly, professional and went out of their way to cater to an amazing experience. The vans were comfortable and safe. During the entire journey, we felt we were well taken care of and had the most amazing time. Lesley also been extremely communicative with emails before as well as during the trip. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of Silk Road in a private tour where you can cater your interests. The agency takes care of all the logistics so you can focus on learning and be experiencing this amazing journey.
