5 Days Tour Fujian Tulou Xiamen

Welcome to Xiamen, the Garden City on the Sea! Pick up from Xiamen airport, coach view Golden Ring Road, which is 31 kilometers long and also known as five-color road: blue sea, golden beach, green grass, red track and gray highway. You can enjoy the fun of the seaside ride and the beautiful scenery along the way

Then we will head to South Putuo Temple which first built in Tang Dynasty. It is renowned for its collection of Buddhist cultural relics, such as a Burmese jade carving of the Buddha, some important Buddhist texts. Standing at the top of the Wulao Peak, you can enjoy the bird’s eye view of Xiamen University and Xiamen Port. 

After visiting, stop at Xiamen University, which was built beside the mountain and near the sea, and contains many unique buildings combining Chinese and western architectural cultures, making it one of the most beautiful universities in China. You can also take the photos with your partner with its beautiful scenery. You will visiting a landmark in Xiamen--- Zhongshan Road. You can appreciate its unique arcade buildings and historical relics to feel long history and rich culture, or free shopping at Zhongshan Road

After breakfast, take a 3-hour scenic drive to see the earth buildings in Nanjing County, Zhangzhou City. You’ll visit Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster, Yuchanglou (learn structure Hakka House), and Taxia Village. Drive 30 minutes to Gaobei Tulou Cluster to visit Chengqilou. After the tour, transfer Yongding for overnight stay.

Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster: Composed primarily of four round and one rectangular earthen house, it is one of the most magnificent and well-preserved Hakka Castles in the area. The village is also listed in the Famous Historic Cultural Village in China for its typical cultural regional system.

Yuchanglou: Yuchanglou was built in 1308 and is one of the oldest existing Tulou. This five-story earth building is most famous for its tilted pillars. The most extreme is slanted at 15-degree angle.

Taxia Village: There are more than 20 earthen building of different shapes built along the bank of a clear brook that flows through the entire village.

Chengqilou: It is the largest of the earth buildings located in Gaobei Tulou Cluster. Chengqilou is about three hundred years old and is made up of four concentric circular buildings. This King of Round Earth Buildings has altogether 400 rooms and used to house 80 families, more than 600 people in its prosperous days.

Morning after delighted buffet, visit Yongding Hakka Folk Culture Village, which is a good place for tourists to experience the traditional Hakka culture. As soon as you enter the earth building, you will feel a deep sense of history and gentle atmosphere. After Lunch, trf to visit Gaobei Hakka Building, visit Chengqi Building, Wuyun Building, Shize Building, Qiaofu Building, transfer back to Xiamen.

Today kick off your day to discover Xiamen, our first stop is Gulangyu Island. Have a leisurely stroll around Gulangyu Island to appreciate old consulates, churches and other European-style buildings. You will also visit two attractions on the island: Sunlight Rock Park and Shuzhuang Garden. Have a nice stroll in Shuzhuang Garden, a beautiful seaside garden and walk to the famous Piano Museum with a collection of 80-fold rare old pianos from all over the world. Rest of the day is free for you at leisure, and you can free shopping at Zhongshan Road.

After breakfast, your guide and driver would send you to the airport/train station to catch the flight/train to your next destination or back home. Wish you a pleasant journey!
